Compact enamelled cast iron pot for rice, soup and small meals

This compact cast iron pot is designed for people who cook most days for one or two. The deeper shape is made for rice, porridge, soups and stews, with enough depth for liquid without the weight of a full Dutch oven.

The 2.6 L size works well as an everyday rice pot or for small one-pot meals. The 1.7 L size suits smaller portions, breakfast porridge or a quick noodle soup. A close-fitting lid helps hold in steam so rice and brothy dishes can simmer gently on low to medium heat.

Inside, the smooth enamel cooking surface does not need seasoning and cleans up easily with warm soapy water and a soft sponge. The coloured enamel looks neat on the hob and is smart enough to bring straight to the table.

The pot works on gas, electric, ceramic and induction hobs, and is oven-safe for finishing dishes under steady heat.

Features

  • Thick cast iron walls deliver even heat and a steady simmer
  • Tall, upright sides suit rice, congee, beans, lentils and brothy dishes
  • Smooth enamel interior helps reduce sticking and cleans up with a short soak and soft sponge
  • No seasoning routine, so everyday care stays simple
  • Works on gas, electric, ceramic and induction hobs
  • Oven-safe up to 260°C for baking, roasting or finishing under the grill
  • Wide side handles and an easy-grip lid knob make it simple to move from hob to oven to table

Use & Care

  • Preheat gently – Use low to medium heat; gradual warming protects the enamel and helps bread bake evenly.
  • Use gentle utensils – Choose wooden, silicone, or nylon tools to avoid scratching the enamel.
  • Hand wash preferred – Warm, soapy water and a soft sponge are best; avoid metal scourers and harsh abrasives.
  • Heat safe – Suitable for stovetops and ovens up to 260°C (500°F).
  • Tackle stains – For stubborn marks, use a baking soda paste, leave for 10–15 minutes, then gently scrub and rinse.
  • Store carefully – Dry thoroughly and place a soft cloth or pan protector between pieces if stacking.

  • Right-sized for small households

Designed for one or two people, so you’re not heating a big, heavy pot just to cook a small batch of rice or soup.

  • Built for rice and brothy dishes

The deeper shape and snug lid work well for rice, congee, beans, lentils and clear soups. It sits securely on the burner and helps control splashes and boil-overs.

  • Smooth enamel, easy cleanup

The glossy enamel interior never needs seasoning. Most meals rinse off with warm soapy water, and the neat exterior is ready to go straight from stovetop to table.

How We Compare

VS.

Made without PTFE, PFOA, lead or cadmium.

Often use PTFE or other synthetic coatings that can degrade at high heat.

Thick 3 layer enamel that resists chips and sudden temperature changes.

Thin coatings scratch, peel or chip more easily.

Heavy cast iron core that heats evenly and stays hot for steady searing.

Lightweight pans heat unevenly or lose heat quickly.

No seasoning needed. Enamel seals the iron so it resists rust.

Bare cast iron needs seasoning and can rust if it is not cared for.

Glossy, table ready colors that look good on the table.

Plain, utilitarian looks that stay in the cupboard.
