This set of two mini cast iron Dutch ovens is sized for small dishes that go straight from oven to table. Use them for garlic confit, warm cheese dips, individual macaroni cheese, baked eggs, single-serve casseroles and little fruit or chocolate puddings.

Choose pre-seasoned black cast iron if you want high heat and a traditional, naturally developing surface, or glossy enamelled cast iron if you prefer easy clean-up and colour on the table. Each mini Dutch oven includes a tight-fitting lid and is suitable for gas, electric, ceramic and induction hobs, as well as for use in the oven.

Choosing your size

240 ml (approx. 0.24 L, about 1 cup)
Best for warm dips, molten chocolate puddings, baked eggs and other single-serve starters. The smaller volume means it heats quickly when you want something comforting in a hurry.

475 ml (approx. 0.48 L, about 2 cups)
Ideal for individual mains like macaroni cheese, baked pasta, pot pies or a mini sourdough boule. A generous single portion for one adult.

710 ml (approx. 0.71 L, about 3 cups)
Good for heartier portions or sharing sides at the table, such as stews, gratins, baked beans or roasted vegetables for two.

Features

  • Real cast iron, mini size
Thick cast iron walls (not thin novelty metal) for even heat, crisp edges and excellent heat retention in small portions.
  • High-heat oven safe
Safe up to 260°C (500°F) for baking, roasting and grilling with the lid on, plus everyday hob and barbecue use.
  • Easy to carry and serve
Wide side handles give you a secure grip, even with bulky oven gloves, so you can carry the minis safely from oven to table.
  • Enamelled cast iron option
Smooth, glassy enamel interior for easy food release, no seasoning and simple clean-up.
  • Pre-seasoned cast iron option
Ready to cook straight out of the box and designed to build deeper seasoning and flavour over time.

Use & Care

  • Preheat gently – Use low to medium heat; gradual warming protects the enamel and helps bread bake evenly.
  • Use gentle utensils – Choose wooden, silicone, or nylon tools to avoid scratching the enamel.
  • Hand wash preferred – Warm, soapy water and a soft sponge are best; avoid metal scourers and harsh abrasives.
  • Heat safe – Suitable for stovetops and ovens up to 260°C (500°F).
  • Tackle stains – For stubborn marks, use a baking soda paste, leave for 10–15 minutes, then gently scrub and rinse.
  • Store carefully – Dry thoroughly and place a soft cloth or pan protector between pieces if stacking.

  • Mini size, full cast iron heat

Thick cast iron walls spread heat evenly, so small bakes come out with crisp edges, bubbling tops, and centers that cook through gently.

  • Straight from oven to table

Cook and serve in the same pot. Minis move from rack to place setting without extra dishes and help keep food warm while you eat.

  • Built for years of use

Heavy cast iron and hard-wearing finishes handle high heat and frequent use, from everyday snacks to holiday sides.

How We Compare

VS.

Made without PTFE, PFOA, lead or cadmium.

Often use PTFE or other synthetic coatings that can degrade at high heat.

Thick 3 layer enamel that resists chips and sudden temperature changes.

Thin coatings scratch, peel or chip more easily.

Heavy cast iron core that heats evenly and stays hot for steady searing.

Lightweight pans heat unevenly or lose heat quickly.

No seasoning needed. Enamel seals the iron so it resists rust.

Bare cast iron needs seasoning and can rust if it is not cared for.

Glossy, table ready colors that look good on the table.

Plain, utilitarian looks that stay in the cupboard.
